Young Canadians are given the opportunity to learn first aid and volunteer in their communities, fostering their personal development and commitment to service!
The Youth Cadet Program offers students the opportunity to learn CPR & first aid, to provide assistance with non-profit fundraising activities and to volunteer at community events. This is a structured health-oriented program that provides young people with opportunities for social, educational and personal development through training, community service and participation at special events. Each week participants learn first aid & leadership skills and practice their skills through fun and interactive gym games.
The program is geared to students in grades 6-8, training students become the next Medical First Responders, Search & Rescue or Water Patrol volunteers, ensuring a safe and healthy Niagara for years to come!
The Youth Cadet Program runs Wednesday evenings 6:45pm to 8:45pm at Princess Margaret Public School, Niagara Falls. The 2016/2017 season starts Sept 28th. For more information or to register call Beth Paul at 905-347-3838 or email at beth.paul(at)on.sja.ca
